ColoradoHomeLoans.com
was created by Dan Smith in 1995. A local lender in the Evergreen, CO market since 1987, Dan wanted to maintain his leading edge in technology and customer service. The site has undergone numerous changes over the years and continues to supply consumers with state of the art mortgage services. Here consumers can make a secure on-line application, check current rates, or calculate mortgage payments to fit their needs. In addition, Dan has maintained an extensive library of consumer related articles to educate the general public on relevant mortgage topics.

A Colorado Native, Dan Smith grew up in Pueblo and migrated to the Denver Metro area after completing his BS in Economics at the University of Colorado in 1985. He continued his education and in 1986 was awarded American Bar Association certification as a paralegal. Beginning his mortgage career in 1986 with Security Pacific Mortgage, his first job was in their foreclosure department. It soon became apparent that his talents with customer relations would be better served on the front end of the business, in loan originations. So in 1987, he took his first loan officer position at Pacific First Mortgage serving the foothills area of Evergreen, Conifer and Golden. He relocated his family and purchased his first residence in Evergreen in 1989 and has resided there ever since. As an avid outdoorsman, you are likely to find Dan snowboarding, motorcycle riding, or hiking most weekends.

As Dan himself would tell you, there is nothing more exciting in this business than meeting new people. His customer “first” focus has proven itself over time, with one of the highest repeat customer percentages in the nation. But his success hasn’t changed the way he does business. He still personally meets or consults with each customer, one at a time. He does that to ensure that the product recommended is the best fit for their individual needs. You absolutely will not find anyone more dedicated to “hands on” professional and friendly service.

So experience the difference a caring human being can make in the mortgage process.
